Where Will You Explore First?
The most popular routes will take you along the Foreshore between the North & South Bays. North Bay Beach is Scarborough's Blue Flag beach. Away from the main road the traditional chalet lined promenade run’s to the popular Sealife Centre.
The South Bay is the busiest of the Scarborough Beaches. A little more sheltered than the North Bay by the Harbour and Castle Headland and home to many places to stop for a bite to eat.
Away from the hustle & bustle & just a 3.5 mile ride from the North Bay Cayton Bay Beach has lots to offer. A large sweeping bay, where families can relax away from the sight & sound of traffic. Infant considering it’s close proximity to Scarborough, Cayton bay feels very rural with its acres of woodland spilling down onto he beach.
The Cinder Track is probably the most popular route of all. From 1885 until it’s closure in 1965 the old railway line runs from Scarborough to Whitby, It is an off road route through the North York Moors National Park with plenty of stops along the way.
